What is the name of the actor who plays the gay son on empire
Joe Reid and Kevin O'Keeffe discuss the third episode of Fox's musical drama series Empire and ponder whether making younger men call her mama is all Naomi Campbell is here for. Reid: Last night's Empire was probably the least I've enjoyed Cookie all season. And I think that's ultimately better for the long-term health of the show. That's not to say that Taraji P. Henson didn't throw it down—she did, even if her crying over Bunkie's casket felt a little less than authentic. ‘Empire’ actor Jussie Smollett reveals he’s gay on ‘Ellen’: ‘There is no closet’
CHICAGO AP — Prosecutors on Tuesday dropped all charges against Jussie Smollett, an astonishing reversal that the "Empire" actor called vindication, but that the Chicago mayor angrily dismissed as a "whitewash" of allegations that Smollett lied about being the target of a racist, anti-gay attack. Authorities said they still believe Smollett concocted the attack, and they offered little explanation for the decision to abandon the case barely five weeks after charges were filed. The mayor and police chief blasted the move and stood by the investigation that concluded Smollett staged a hoax. Mayor Rahm Emanuel lashed out at Smollett, saying he had dragged the city's reputation "through the mud" in a quest to advance his career.
Questions about his sexual orientation have come up for a while. Now, Smollett is speaking out on the only platform he feels comfortable enough to do so. So it was really important to me to make sure that it got across that there is no closet," Smollett continued. This time in Smollett's world has been a highlight of his career as an indie musician. After a chance email to the show's creator, Lee Daniels, he landed an audition.
